My boyfriend and I drove all the way up from Pawley’s Island, SC to see Dr. Altizer and find out if he was a candidate for stem cells. We liked how NeoGenix offered the option to either harvest your own stem cells or get the off the shelf injections from a donor. My boyfriend chose to get Wharton’s Jelly in his right knee because we were only in town for a few days and he didn’t want to go through any recovery time. He was in an out of the office in 30 minutes. He said the injection was painless. In just a few weeks his knee feels great. He has played more painless golf in the last few weeks then he has in a long time. We highly recommend Dr. Altizer to anyone wishing to avoid surgery.

I can’t say enough awesome things about Dr. James Altizer. I had a partially torn right rotator cuff from an injury about 20 years ago. I went to 3 different orthopedic surgeons. They all told me my ONLY option was to have surgery. After my surgery I wouldn’t be able to workout, pick my daughter up and put her in a grocery cart,or do push-ups/pull-ups, etc. I would have to limit myself to NO strenuous or physical activity involving my shoulder. This was too much to take as working out has been, and will ALWAYS be such a huge part of my life.

This prompted me to do some digging on my own. I found Dr. Altizer’s clinic during an online search. I went in for a complimentary consultation. We discussed my MRI results and determined that I would be a good candidate for a PRP injection. Because of my injury I had reduced mobility along with numbness, weakness, and muscle atrophy.

I scheduled the PRP injection 2 days before my scheduled shoulder surgery, the surgery that would have kept me in a sling for a minimum of 6-8 weeks and would have required months of rehab during which time I would not be able to use my shoulder much.

The injection was done on a Wednesday morning. Wednesday and Thursday I was pretty sore. Friday morning while in the shower, I reached to grab the shampoo and for the first time in nearly 2 decades I felt the hot water on my shoulder where it had been numb prior to the injection. I was like, “What the HECK is going on here?!” Over the following week, I had great improvement in the numbness in my shoulder/neck area, and my range of motion was already starting to improve. Over time, as my shoulder continued to heal, I was able to do push-ups for the first time in years! This was over 3 years ago, and my strength has gone through the roof. From all the years of overcompensating for my right shoulder injury, my left shoulder is just now starting to show signs of wear and tear. I will, without a doubt, be returning to see Dr. Altizer to get my left shoulder treated as well.

To Dr. Altizer and your team, I truly thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You guys undoubtedly changed my quality of life, for the better.

Back in 2012 I was involved in a very serious car accident that resulted in a bad shoulder injury. I tried everything and nothing got me any results, until I met Dr. Altizer. It took four years to find him but I am so glad I did, because today my shoulder is completely pain free, and has been for almost four years. I had the PRP injection in my left shoulder joint and the pain and stiffness have still not returned. Typically a PRP injection works for 2-3 years, but thanks to the steady hand of Dr. Altizer I have been pain-free for even longer! I HIGHLY recommend this treatment to anyone struggling with a tough injury!

I went to Dr. Altizer in Oct of 2018.
I had stem cell injections in my right shoulder. I’m right handed and could hardly use my right arm at all! It was extremely painful!!!!
Ever since then it’s been like a miracle happened . Almost NO pain at all. Was definitely with the money, hope it stays like it is forever. Can actually sleep on it, before I couldn’t sleep at all, if I turned over the pain woke me, it was AWFUL!! Thanks Dr. A!!!

I had a bad right shoulder for the better part of a year before I decided to get it looked at. I am in the construction industry so I just assumed I hurt it and it would get better in time. After dealing with the increasing pain, not being able to sleep and only about 20% rotation, I decided to get an MRI to check it out. My mobility had degraded to where I was only able to move my arm with the assistance of my other arm in order to put the keys in my ignition.

The MRI revealed that I had almost complete tears in my labrum and rotator cuff tendons along with a partial tear in my bicep tendon. I visited Dr. Altizer and his team decided that stem cell therapy seemed like it would be a good path. I knew I didn’t want to deal with surgery because I had just started building a new home in the fall of 2019.

I proceeded with hopefulness in September of 2019, saw a decrease in pain within a week or so. I consistently was gaining back rotation and less and less pain as the weeks went on. Within 4 months I was pain free and I am 8 months from the procedure and am completely pain free with 100% mobility. I can do full workouts and any construction project I need to.

This procedure from Dr. Altizer was nothing short of a miracle for me and well worth the costs. If I can ever avoid surgery I will take that option 100% of the time. Thank you Dr. Altizer and team.

You are in great hands at NeoGenix!! Dr. Altizer has helped me tremendously for my Achilles and knee with PRP, and I wouldn’t be doing what I am not for running and triathlons without the help. I am forever grateful to Dr. Altizer??
